Prince Albert II and Princess Charlène officially unveiled the Grimaldi Forum’s highly anticipated extension.

The milestone event highlighted the Forum’s journey as a symbol of culture and innovation in the Principality.

The evening began in the majestic Salle des Princes, where guests enjoyed a performance by Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo – Académie Princesse Grace, according to Monaco Life.

Between breathtaking dance sequences, themed videos traced the Forum’s evolution.

These clips captured the venue’s origins, its cultural contributions, its commitment to sustainability, and its pivotal role in Monaco’s business tourism.

PRINCE ALBERT’S SPEECH

Prince Albert II, addressing the audience, reflected on the Forum’s legacy and bright future.

“Thank you for these images, which inspire joy and emotion, representing Monaco’s values: hospitality, creativity, excellence, and environmental responsibility.

The Grimaldi Forum staff have made this venture a great success. I offer my warmest congratulations and encouragement.”

THE NEW EXTENSION

He also spoke about the new extension, which adds 6,000 square metres of indoor space and 2,000 square metres of outdoor areas.

“The real challenge is to optimise its use,” the Prince noted.

“Blending seamlessly into the Mareterra eco-district, the additional space will host larger events. It will also support growing clients, and accommodate simultaneous gatherings.

This extension, along with the Mareterra district and Larvotto beach upgrades, enhances Monaco’s appeal. I wish the Forum continued success and a very happy birthday.”

PRINCESS CHARLÈNE HOSTS A COCKTAIL RECEPTION

Father Jean-Ariel Bauza-Salinas blessed the new spaces, joined by the royal couple, according to Monaco Reporter.

The evening then moved to the expanded Patio and Galerie Diaghilev, where guests enjoyed a lively cocktail reception.

Later, the Hall Pinède transformed into a buzzing ‘Electro Winter Party,’ capping off the celebration in style.

Ahead of the event, the Grimaldi Forum renewed its 20-year partnership with CMB Monaco. The symbolic signing in the Salle Van Donghen reflected shared ambitions.

THE POWER OF COLLABORATION

CMB Monaco Chairman Etienne Franzi and Managing Director Francesco Grosoli emphasised the collaboration’s importance.

“For two decades, we’ve worked together to support the Principality’s growth.

This is not just an investment but a true partnership,” Grosoli said. “Culture is essential. Together, we’re writing a meaningful story that places Monaco on the global stage.”

Grimaldi Forum CEO Henri Fissore agreed, highlighting the partnership’s role in sustaining excellence, according to Royal Dish.

“This support is vital to our cultural programming. With the new space, we’ll offer even more diverse events, appealing to a broader audience.”
