The first Soweto Derby of the season between Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs is scheduled for February 1 at FNB Stadium.
And it will, as usual, be a sold-out affair with match tickets for the encounter selling like hot fat cakes.
On Thursday, January 16, only 40 000 tickets were still available for purchase but that number decreased drastically within hours.
Pirates issued another update on Friday, January 17, to announce that only 15 000 tickets were still available.
Of course, that number could be lesser at the time of publication given the rate at which both sets of fans are buying tickets.
