VIRAL DANCE SENSATION SKOMOTA STEALS THE SHOW AT A LOCAL WEDDING

The dancing sensation has been winning big since his thrust into the limelight. He has been busy and booked and has headlined several shows and rallies nationwide.

He has also shared the stage with some of South Africa’s greatest artists, including Makhadzi. Thanks to his huge social media following, Skomota often trends whenever he posts or gets posted.

Skomota recently wowed guests at a local wedding he was booked to perform. The viral clip of the star pulling off his signature dance moves has since gone viral.

Skomota’s manager, Moruti wa Dikot, first shared the video on Facebook.

However, Skomota’s star performance came barely a few weeks after he reportedly refused to perform at a booked gig.

When he arrived at one of his recent gigs, Skomota seemed in a sour mood. He was seen interacting with the organisers, seemingly refusing to perform.

SUSPENDING BOOKINGS

In April last year, the dancing sensation suspended all bookings. Reports have it that the decision to suspend all bookings came after it was established that Skomota’s manager allegedly defrauded him of money.

Skhothane sa Pitori made the daring claims. He revealed that Skomota had no bank account, and all his booking fees were being paid to Moruti wa Dikota’s account.

During his sit-and-tell interview, Skhothane sa Pitori pulled a shocker when he revealed that Skomota had made over R1 million in bookings but hadn’t spent much of it because of his management.

MAKING HEADLINES

Skomota’s booking fees made headlines last year. Since his rise to fame, he has kept them under wraps.

However, despite several unsuccessful attempts, his alleged booking fee was leaked after his management’s chat with an unknown event promoter was leaked.

The leaked chat revealed that Skomota costs a whooping R90k to book. However, his management did not openly confirm the amount.

However, tabloids once speculated that he pockets around R545 000 monthly.
