The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, is reportedly as ready as she has ever been to step into the role of being Queen.
KATE MIDDLETON ‘AS READY AS EVER’ TO BE QUEEN
Family is reportedly the centre of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s universe. The pair have three kids together – Prince George (11), Princess Charlotte (9) and Prince Louis (6).
“No one could have expected what this year has brought for the Prince and Princess of Wales. Family is so important to them, and the children are the center of their universe,” said a source according to Page Six.
A source said that Prince William said it has been the hardest year of his life with Kate Middleton’s diagnosis.
“They wanted to start celebrating early. They’re focused this Christmas [season] on being with the family at home and then joining the rest of the Windsor family on Christmas Day. The Prince of Wales has said this has been the hardest year of his life,” the source continued.
Royal historian and friend of the family, Hugo Vickers also stated that Kate Middleton is as ready as she will ever be to take on the role of Queen of England.
“Catherine is as ready as she will ever be to be queen,” said Vickers.
PRINCE WILLIAM AND KATE PREPARE TO STEP IN TO ‘KING AND QUEEN’ ROLES SOONER THAN EXPECTED
This comes after royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith claimed that the Prince and Princess of Wales has began gearing up for his ascension.
“Although the king is carrying out his duties with typical determination, he has had to accept limitations during his cancer treatment,” Bedell Smith toldPeople.
“As a result William has been taking on more responsibilities, and he and Kate have been preparing for their future roles sooner than they would have expected,” Smith continued.
In March Princess Kate revealed her cancer diagnosis. After undergoing chemotherapy, Kate has since revealed that she is cancer-free.
