South African Twitter personality Chris Excel sparked a buzz on social media recently after targeting a post at single mothers.
The self-proclaimed “Black Twitter President,” known for his outspoken personality, took a swipe at single mothers, claiming many of them would sleep their way to wealth during the festive season.
Chris shared a photo of a man and a woman in an intimate moment, using it to illustrate his point. He captioned the image: “Single mothers right now hustling Christmas clothes.”
The tweet ignited outrage and mixed reactions. While many defended single mothers, a few sided with Chris in mocking them.
One user wrote: “Gents, we can’t keep saying such hurtful things about single mothers when we’re the ones who make them single and run away from our responsibilities, especially black men.”
Another user added: “This tweet is very degrading and stupid, I must say. A lot of single mothers are real-life heroes, hustling and raising their kids right. This tweet coming from a man is wild. Not everything is a joke.”
