Legendary kwaito musician Doc Shebeleza, real name Victor Bogopane might be out of hospital.

TshisaLIVEreports that the kwaito artist Doc Shebeleza is showing signs of recovery after an operation.

The family’s spokesperson and manager Shakes Mavundla tells the publication that the artist has been discharged from the ICU at a Johannesburg private hospital. Bogopane underwent an operation on Monday, 2 December.

“He’s doing well and he’s in good spirits. He’s under the doctor’s observation and might be discharged soon. We as family are in good spirits as well.”

This comes after the publicationreported that the kwaito legend confirmed that Bogopane was in ICU at a Johannesburg private hospital.

The family also revealed that the musician was fine and was preparing for an event when his health deteriorated.

DOC SHEBELEZA: ‘LOOK TO THE LORD’

The publication adds that the musicianDoc Shebeleza recently shared motivational quotes and Bible scriptures on his social media after his operation.

“Look to the Lord and His strength. Seek his face always,” he wrote.

Zimoja reported in June that Bogopane was admitted to hospital on Sunday, 2 June after a health scare.

The 51-year-old musician was reportedly rushed to the hospital after becoming weak.

Bogopane also revealed to the publication that he didn’t feel okay and had no energy. He also added that he personally went to the hospital, and they urgently admitted him.

The businessman also assured his fans that he will soon be discharged from hospital.

“I’m in good hands. Doctors are still running some tests. I hope and trust I will be out sooner,” he adds.

The publication also revealed at the time that Bogopane was going to be checked by specialists on Monday morning, 3 June to see if his health scare is not something too serious.
