Thanks to his huge social media following, former Mamelodi Sundowns star Cassius Mailula often trends whenever he posts or gets posted.

The 23-year-old star is trending following his recent Instagram post, which has set social media abuzz.

FORMER MAMELODI SUNDOWNS STAR SPOTTED WITH A SLEEK AUDI

Taking to the picture-sharing app, the Wydad AC star posted a photo of him enjoying his stay in Morocco.

He captioned the now-viral post, “A beautiful day filled with sunshine and smiles.”

However, Cassius Mailula’s rumoured car stole the attention of many. He was posing next to a sleek Audi Q5 Quattro.

Petrolheads were quick to flood Cassius ‘Cash Money’ Mailula’s car a nod.

However, against the trends, the star is yet to confirm if he has added the German beast to his impressive fleet worth millions.

The South African has since figured out the car’s price tag. An Audi Q5 Quattro has a base price tag of R1.1 million in several authorised dealerships nationwide.

However, one should note that prices tend to differ because of trims and year of manufacture.

This is not the first time the foreign-based South African has made headlines with his life in the fast lane.

Earlier this year, Cassius Mailula stole the spotlight during Toronto FC’s “All For One Reds Soiree,” which allowed guests to mingle with Toronto stars.

Cassius Mailula showed up at the event with a menacing R1.2 million ride – a Chevrolet Corvette.

After all, he joins a host of South African footballers, including Mfundo Vilakazi, who have made headlines with their rumoured cars.

CAREER

He started his youth career with Mamelodi Sundowns in 2016. In 2022, he was promoted to the senior team, where he had his fair share of success.

Just after a season with a senior team, after making almost 20 appearances and netting nine goals, Cassius Mailula joined Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit Toronto FC.

Earlier this year, he was loaned to Wydad AC, which undoubtedly saw him reuniting with his mentor, Rulani Mokwena.

Having struggled for game-time in North America, Cassius Mailula once said he hopes to revive his career at Wydad.

“I chose Wydad AC for several compelling reasons. First, I will be under the guidance of Mokwena, who knows me well and has always believed in my abilities.

“He played a pivotal role in my upcoming at Mamelodi Sundowns,” Cassius Mailula said.
