Richards Bay FC chairman Jomo Biyela has confirmed the departure of head coach Brandon Truter.
This is due to The Natal Rich Boyz’s poor performances this season with Truter at the helm.
Richards Bay FC are sitting in position 14 with just five points on the Betway Premiership log after eight league games.
And the management felt this was not good enough given the money invested in the club at the start of last season.
Truter rejoined Richards Bay FC at the start of the current campaign following the sacking of Vusumuzi Vilakazi.
Last season, Vilakazi saved the club from axe by winning the relegtion/promotion playoffs.
However, Richards Bay FC claimed to be looking for a quality and experienced coach, and they subsequently rehired Truter.
Now, Biyela said Truter was not fired but the two parties merely decided to go separate ways.

“We did not fire the coach, however for our sanity it was best that we go our separate ways with our integrity intact,” Biyela told SABC Sport.
“The coach did not meet the performance requirements for the season,” the chairman explained.
