Mthanti replaces Menzi Magubane, who also took over from Danisa Zulu, whom Zuma relieved from his duties on 28 June.

MK PARTY ANNOUNCES LEADERSHIP CHANGE

MK Party head of presidency Magasela Mzobe said Mthanti, who served as a member of the national high command, has served the party well, diligently executing various tasks since its inception.

Mthanti also served as the chairperson of the party’s communications sub-committee of the national high command.

“Mthanti will assume the roles and responsibilities of the treasurer-general as prescribed by the constitution of the MK Party,” Mzobe said.
Additionally, Nhlamulo Ndhlela has been appointed the party’s official national spokesperson and will now participate in the top 8 and national high command.

“This decision is to strengthen the party’s communications machinery further and shape its strategic direction. The president has confidence in commander Ndhlela to continue to execute his responsibilities with the astuteness he continually demonstrates,” Mzobe said.
