Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi has shared his thoughts on Reeve Frosler’s red card in their Betway Premiership encounter against Richards Bay FCon Wednesday night.
Despite being one man down, Amakhosi managed to secure a 2-1 win over the Natal Rich Boyz. The match took place at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
The Soweto giants’ right-back, Frosler, was given a red card in the 48th minute of the showdown after receiving two yellow cards.
As a result, the Glamour Boys played 42 minutes, plus six minutes of additional time in the second stanza with one man short. However, the Nabi-coached side was able to hold on to win the game at the end of the night.

The Tunisian mentor said he prefers not to discuss the referees much, claiming there was no foul and that the player slipped on his own, which was evident to everyone in the stadium.
The increased controversy surrounding refereeing decisions in the SA top flight has been the talk of the town for quite some time, with many calling for VAR implementation in the PSL.
“About the referees, we won’t make comments. You will judge for yourself that there wasn’t even a foul on the player,” told journalists in Polokwane.
“The player slipped [properly, the whole stadium saw the player slipping]. Only the referee did not see the foul, and after that, there was a red card.
“But we won’t talk much about the referee; you will judge for yourself.”
As things stand, Chiefs are placed sixth on the Betway Premiership log standings with 10 points after six matches. In those six games, Amakhosi won three, drew one, and lost two.
The club will now focus on their next league assignment against Royal AM on Saturday, 30 November 2024. The showpiece will be played at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium at 17:45.
