Actress Crystal-Donna Roberts has passed away at the age of 40.

She was renowned for her exceptional acting talent and appeared in numerous shows, including Arendsvlei, 7de Laan, Chronicle, Montana, Krotoa, and The Endless River, among others.

CRYSTAL-DONNA ROBERTS HAS PASSED AWAY

Tributes are flooding in following the passing of actress Crystal-Donna Roberts.

Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela reported on X that the actress succumbed to her battle with cancer.

“South African SAFTA winning actor and tv presenter has passed away at the age of 40. Best known for playing Janine in the SABC2 soapie 7de Laan, the actress lost her battle with breast cancer,” reported Mphela.

Roberts was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018, which she openly revealed in 2019. Her husband, Schalk Cornelissen, whom she married in October 2015, shared the heartbreaking news on Facebook on Thursday morning.

He posted a photo of the actress with the caption: “Rest in peace my beautiful, beautiful, loving wife.”
