Some companies take better care of their staff than others. Businesses that focus on creating a positive work environment stand to benefit in the end by retaining skilled workers. The latest Forbes list of the world’s best employers for this year highlights some of these companies. Below is a look at the top 10.
Increasing uncertainty among employees
Various factors, such as current geopolitical unrest and the growing cost of living, contribute to employees feeling uncertain about their future in the labour market. People are also increasingly concerned about the rapid evolution of generative AI in the workplace.

How Forbes compiles the list
Forbes, in collaboration with the market research company Statista, created this list by surveying over 300 000 employees from more than 50 countries. These employees work for multinational corporations that have at least 1 000 workers and operate in at least two of the six global regions: Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, North America, and Oceania.
Participants were asked if they would recommend their company to others. They also evaluated it based on factors like salary, opportunities for talent development, and options for remote work.
Additionally, respondents could rate companies they were familiar with through their own experiences or through friends and family who were employed there.
