Usimamane’s ‘Bank’ reaches a milestone on Spotify
Usimamane expresses excitement following the success of his song, Bank.
The single reached a massive milestone on a streaming platform, sparking beautiful emotions in the rapper.
Taking to social media, Usimamane revealed that the song has garnered over 1 million streams.
“Oh man Bank is finally a milly, this song was supposed to be the next single after cheque replacing the long overdue remix for cheque and this was gonna be the official art cover for it,” he wrote.
He continued the note with words of appreciation to Anatii, revealing how they cooked the song.
“I remember when we were making it I was talking to the biggest Qo Anatti how I wanted to have some artists on the remix but those artists didn’t want to participate I was so hurt that he said “give me the song I’ll call the bruz myself, I’ll give you the cheque remix” and I said na it’s cool and then he said “actually fuck a cheque you need a bank” and that’s how the song came out about.”
“I have to say @anatii is one of the few artists I love and respect he mixed and produced the song helping my brothers Charlie, kling and slay I have no words to describe the excitement I have to have the biggest Qo on a record and to be the only artist to have him on a hip hop song this year.”
