KAIZER CHIEFS DEVELOPING TWO NEW PLAYERS FOR THE SENIOR TEAM

The new Home of Legends Cup kicked off on Saturday. In the semi-finals, Amakhosi beat Golden Arrows at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium. In the final, Kaizer Chiefs won 5-3 on penalties over Mamelodi Sundowns after the match ended goalless in 90 minutes.

Something exciting was spotted before the matches: Kaizer Chiefs’ next academy products Xolani Cossa, a 20-year-old left-footed central defender, and Ofentse Kgosana, a 19-year-old left-back.

Meanwhile, both players might play in the DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) Soweto derby against Orlando Pirates on Sunday at 15:00 from the Dobsonville Stadium.

For now, Amakhosi are linked with a deadly striker who qualifies to be called a goal machine.
