Springbok WAGS rally around Rachel Kolisi after divorce

Springbok WAGS have rallied around Rachel Kolisi, the soon-to-be ex-wife of captain Siya Kolisi after she broke her silence on social media following her recent divorce announcement.

The “first lady” of the squad has kept a low profile since the bombshell announcement last week.

SPRINGBOK WAGS SHOW LOVE TO RACHEL KOLISI

On Saturday, 2 November, Rachel Kolisi broke her silence on social media following the divorce bombshell. Unlike her husband, Siya, who has been posting up a storm about his time abroad amid the squad’s end-of-year test series, his partner has maintained her silence until now.

Sharing a sombre image, Rachel posted: “This is so hard.

“I have genuinely been overwhelmed by kindness and love, and I’m so grateful. Fully committed to my healing journey. Peace is my portion”.

The post was liked by Springbok WAGS – Rachel Kolisi’s friends – who included Layla Kolbe, Juanri Mostert, Frances Reinach, and Holly Le Roux, who also left hugs, hearts, and praying hand emojis in the comment section.

Karlien van Jaarsveld – who divorced former Springbok Derick Hougaard in 2015 – also shared her support.

SIYA SMILING IN NEW SNAPS

While Rachel Kolisi has taken a break from social media, her spouse, Siya, has been posting frequently.

However, the Springboks captain has opted to turn off his comments and shut out public commentary. Siya and the rest of the Boks are currently in the UK, where they will play Scotland, Wales, and England in their end-of-year test series.

Siya has posted birthday messages to pals, pics of him touring abroad, and his latest match at his old club at the Sharks.
