CONTROVERSIAL PENALTY?

While Kaizer Chiefs fans lick their wounds following their Soweto Derby defeat, coach Nasreddine Nabi ranted about the “controversial penalty” that Orlando Pirates were awarded in extra time.

Luckily for the Buccaneers, Patrick Maswanganyi scored the match-winning goal.

Nabi told SuperSport in a post-match interview: “It was a zero-zero match.”

“We think that we were good in the game. Unfortunately, the last-minute penalty was a little controversial.

A seething Nabi added: “There were some good moments for us, and there were some good moments for them too. We firmly believe that this was a game that we didn’t deserve to lose.”
