Springbok captain Siya Kolisishared a powerful Bible quote after his ex-wife, Rachel Kolisi, spoke out for the first time about their divorce.

SIYA SURRENDERS EVERYTHING TO THE LORD

The father of two has remained positive amidst news of his divorce, which has shocked the world. While fans continue to pray and hope for his reconciliation with Rachel, he has turned to Bible scriptures during this challenging period.

The rugby player posted a picture on Instagram of himself in a field with his arms outstretched and his eyes closed. He accompanied the image with a powerful Bible verse about trusting the Lord and surrendering to Him for guidance on one’s journey.

“Proverbs 3:5-6. 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight,” he captioned the post.

RACHEL KOLISI BREAKS HER SILENCE

Siya and Rachel have been making headlines after announcing their split in a joint statement. Announcing the news, they said they decided to part ways after much reflection and conversations.

They stated that they would continue to be close friends and co-parents to their kids.

“This decision comes from a place of love, respect and understanding that this is the best path forward for both of us. While our relationship as a couple is changing, we remain great friends and committed partners in raising our children with the same love and care they’ve always known,”read the joint statement.

On Saturday morning, Rachel expressed her emotions on Instagram for the first time since announcing her divorce. The mother of two had been quiet on social media, but she has chosen to speak out and reflect on the decision to dissolve her marriage with Siya.

In a post, Rachel expressed her gratitude to everyone for their support.

“This is so hard. I have genuinely been overwhelmed by kindness and love and I’m so grateful. Fully committed to my healing journey. Peace is my portion,” she wrote.
