Chef Xolani Sabelo has publicly apologised to his fiancée, Vuyokazi Nciweni. This comes after a shocking audio recording in which he alleged that she pressured him into paying lobola for her.

SABELO’S HEARFELT APOLOGY TO VUYOKAZI

The couple has been trending after the explosive leaked audio recording. In the recording, the culinarian can be heard gossiping about Nciweni with his baby mama.

He tells her that he is no longer interested in Nciweni and alleges she coerced him into paying lobola for her.

In a video shared by Musa Khawula, Sabelo admitted he was wrong for gossiping about Nciweni. He apologised for humiliating her in public.

“I am sorry to Vuyokazi, her fans her family and my family,” he said.

‘I ADMIT THAT I WAS WRONG’

He said everyone makes mistakes and admitted he was wrong. Sabelo seemed to suggest that his baby mama, who leaked the audio recording had an ulterior motive.

He said she also hoped to mend their relationship since they have a child together, but was unsuccessful.

“I admit that I was wrong. Every relationship has its mistakes. It has its challenges, and whatever I said about Vuyokazi was untrue. I was not okay at the time and ended up talking to my mama,” he said.

Sabelo mentioned that he doesn’t blame his mama for exposing him, but he blames himself for putting himself in this chaos.

IS IT ALL OVER FOR SABELO AND VUYOKAZI?

Upon hearing the audio recording, Nciweni issued a statement responding to Sabelo’s claims. She has since unfollowed him and deleted her lobola day photos from her Instagram profile.

In the statement, she said:

“I recently learned, as many of you have, about troubling accusations and statements circulating in voice notes from my fiancé, suggesting that I had somehow forced him into paying lobola.

“These accusations have brought to light a side of him that I was previously unaware of or perhaps chose not to see. I am devastated by the things said, and I am struggling to process the emotional impact of this situation,” she wrote.
