In less than a week, three South African celebrities, including Master KG and Big Zulu, reportedly bought sleek McLarens that they flaunted online.

First, King Monada made headlines after he took to social media to flaunt his new whip from EB Motors.

Barely a day after his purchase, Big Zulu, with whom he has had a string of social media wars, took to Instagram to share photos of his new McLaren from Chasing Cars.

With Mzansi yet to connect the dots about the two purchases, Master KG also dropped photos and videos of his new McLaren.

Surprisingly, the cars have a base price tag of at least R3.2 million in several dealerships dotted around the country.

The celebrities bought several cars a few months ago, but their recent purchases have divided South Africans.

While many questioned their sources of income, others made it known that they might have been tagged along for an advertising deal.

Over the years, several dealerships have offered celebrities cars to market and promote them, and the norm hasn’t spared South Africa.

Could this be the case? Mzansi undoubtedly made the assumptions after Master KG took his McLaren for a spin.

Many noticed that the car still has a plate from Pharoah and is seemingly still available for sale. Has the dealership yet to update its system, or is it just an error that has yet to be addressed?

‘THIS IS ALL PROMOTIONAL, IT’S NOT GENUINE’: SA DOUBTS RECENT MCLAREN PURCHASES BY CELEBRITIES

Fans quickly flooded into MDN News’comments after sharing a clip of Master KG having a spin with his new whip.

The celebrity blog posted, “Master KG cruising nicely in his new McLaren.” The video has since gained thousands of comments and reactions since it dropped.

Popular X user President of Africa commented, “I’m not a hater or anything, but why are they all getting the 570S and 570 Spider? McLaren has other cars. This all looks promotional; it’s not genuine.”

Another user added, “What’s going on? McLaren for everyone in the game?”

However, @Qwabe07 said, “He can drive it for 6 months without paying a cent because it belongs to the dealership.

“If he wishes to continue driving it to maintain status, he will have to pay for it as a hired car.”

Another X user added, “I believe that Master KG ‘purchased’ the most costly one. Of course, I am joking; the dealership loaned them for promotional purposes.”
