Former Polokwane City FC coach Willy Moloto is set to be appointed at Rwanda Premier League side Amagaju FC. Moloto recently returned to SA after a spell as head coach of Ghanaian second-division team Real Academicals.
He has been linked with a few PSL teams, but nothing has materialised. There were also reports of interest from Ghanaian giant Asante Kotoko in having Moloto serve as an assistant coach.
But the former Pretoria Callies mentor has now opted for a move to the East Africa side.
FARPost has established that Moloto could be unveiled in the next few days if all parties sign on the dotted line. He is set to hold the assistant role to current head coach Niyongabo Amaras.

Amagaju is a club based in Nyamagabe in the Southern part of Rwanda. They are one of the oldest clubs in Rwanda, having been formed in 1935. They finished eighth in the last season.

If the move goes through, Moloto will not be the first South African coach to work in Rwanda. Former Orlando Pirates winger Riyaad Norodien also played for Kiyovu Sport in the country. This is after Norodien failed to find a club in South Africa despite showing tremendous potential.
He later went on to play for a team called DC Motema Pembe in the DRC. Norodien has since returned to South Africa and was in the books of Cape Town Sours last season.
Former Black Leopards player Lethabo Mathaba was signed by a Rwanda Premier League club called Musanze FC last year. The midfielder has been part of the club ever since, alongside a fellow Leopards player Modou Jobe.
