Springboks coach Rassie Erasmus has been praised for his unique tweet featuring multiple South African languages. His post came a day after he celebrated his 52nd birthday.

The rugby boss and the national squad are currently abroad in the last leg of the 2024 test series.

The Boks will face Scotland on Sunday, 10 November.

RASSIE THANKS SA FOR BIRTHDAY WISHES

On Wednesday, 6 November, Rassie Erasmus tweeted his appreciation of all the birthday wishes he had received.

His tweet contained a mixture of isiXhosa, English, and Afrikaans.

Rassie tweeted: “Ek weet almal is nie op x nie!! Just want to say thank you for all the “happy birthday” messages!! Enkosi kakhulu ngeMessages eziSpecial zosuku lozalwa kwam. I know not wonke umntu uku X. Uyabulela uDoc.

Encouraging South Africans to continue to show their support for the Springboks, he added: “We need and feel you on this side.”

In the comment section, tweeps were amused at the coach’s casual use of multiple languages.

DELAY TACTICS?

Meanwhile SA Rugby revealed that Rassie Erasmus will announce the Springboks squad set to face Scotland on Friday.

According to many rugby critics, the coach purposely delayed the announcement to avoid revealing too much information to the opposition.
