Rachel Kolisi’s brother Joel Smith his Olympic swimmer wife, Tatjana Shoenmaker recently flew to Brazil.

Joel Smith and his wife, Tatjana Shoenmaker took to their Instagram stories this week to share photos of their baecation in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil after Siya and Rachel Kolisi’s divorce.

Smith, who is Rachel’s brother and Siya Kolisi’s brother-in-law proposed to the brunette beauty in Cape Town in April 2023.

The Olympic gold medalist and athlete representative tied the knot with a stunning Robertson wedding on 4 November 2023.

Her brother and his new wife also shared their wedding photos on their Instagram accounts and captioned them: “Mr and Mrs Smith.”

The newlyweds have not responded to the Kolisis’ divorce, who confirmed their split on 22 October.

RACHEL KOLISI: DIVORCE

The Springbok captain Siya and Rachel Kolisi announced in a joint statement that they have mutually decided to end their marriage.

“We wanted to share some important news with you. After much reflection and open conversations, we have mutually decided to end our marriage.”

“This decision comes from a place of love, respect and understanding that this is the best path forward for both of us. While our relationship as a couple is changing, we remain great friends and committed partners in raising our children with the same love and care they’ve always known.”

The rugby player also posted on Instagram for the first time since his divorce from his wife Rachel.

He shared a video of himself on the field, thanked the Sharks and the people of KZN for supporting him.
