Since his thrust into the limelight, Skomota has been busy and booked. The viral dance sensation Skomota has since expanded his horizons to hosting and performing.

SKOMOTA REFUSES TO PERFORM AFTER BOOKING

The star has been winning big of late. However, despite his big wins, he has had his fair share of drama. Skomota is trending after he refused to perform at one of his recent gigs.

Skomota was seemingly in a sour mood when he arrived at one of his recent gigs. In a now-viral video making the rounds online, he was seen interacting with the organisers, seemingly refusing to perform.

According to celebrity blog MDN News, Skomota was reportedly ’booked for an event’ but refused to take the stage.

The blog posted, “Skomota refused to perform after being booked.” In the video, Skomota shook his head ‘no’ while complaining to different organisers, including the MC.

However, little is known about why he failed to perform, leaving many to guess. Against the now-viral video, fans quickly flooded social media with their two cents.

Others accused his management of exploitation, and this is not the first time such allegations have made headlines. Some quickly implicated his alleged booking fee of R90 000 into the mix.

SUSPENDING BOOKINGS

In April, the dancing sensation suspended all bookings. Reports have it that the decision to suspend all bookings came after it was established that Skomota’s manager allegedly defrauded him of money.

Skhothane sa Pitori made the daring claims. He revealed that Skomota had no bank account, and all his booking fees were being paid to Moruti wa Dikota’s account.

During his sit-and-tell interview, Skhothane sa Pitori pulled a shocker when he revealed that Skomota had made over R1 million in bookings but hadn’t spent much of it because of his management.

MAKING HEADLINES

Earlier this year, Skomota’s booking fees made headlines. Since his rise to fame, he has kept his booking fees under wraps.

However, despite several unsuccessful attempts, his alleged booking fee was leaked after his management’s chat with an unknown event promoter was leaked.

The leaked chat revealed that Skomota costs a whooping R90k to book. However, his management did not openly confirm the amount.

However, tabloids once speculated that he pockets around R545 000 monthly.
