Punch Masenamela’s Sunrise FC continued with their fine as they secured their fourth consecutive win when they defeated P&S Academy 2-0 in Stream B away from home in the SAFA Limpopo ABC Motsepe League.
As things stand, Sunrise are currently placed second in their stream with 12 points, equal on points with stream leaders The Dolphins after four games. Goal difference is the only thing that separates the two sides.
The former PSL defender – Masenamela took over as coach of the Limpopo side before the commencement of the 2024/25 ABC Motsepe League season and has yet to taste a defeat since the start of the league.
Meanwhile, in Gauteng province, Highlands Park are currently top of the log standings with 10 points from four outings. The Lions of the North are tied on points with second-placed Tembisa Hollywood Thunder. This comes after Highlands Park beat JBM with a 2-0 scoreline on their own turf.
