The PSL have confirmed the kick-off times and venues for this weekend’s Carling Knockout Cup semi-final fixtures.
The upcoming Carling Knockout semi-final fixtures are scheduled to take place on the weekend of the 9th and 10th of November 2024. The draw was broadcast live on SuperSport Channel 202 and SABC Sport.
This comes after the PSL conducted the semis draw at the Dr Molemela Stadium in the Free State province. This was after the Marumo Gallants and Stellenbosch FC’s quarter-final encounter.
Richards Bay FC, Mamelodi Sundowns, Gallants, and Magesi FC will compete in the semi-finals. The four teams will fight to earn a place in the finals.
Brandon Truter’s team made it to the semi-finals by securing a hard-fought 5-4 win over Cape Town City FC on penalties after 120 exhausting minutes.
Bafana Ba Style dominated Kaizer Chiefs with a 4-0 scoreline at a packed FNB Stadium in Soweto on Saturday.
Magesi, debutant in this tournament, triumphed over TS Galaxy 1-0, whereas Dan Malesela’s side also won 1-0 against the defending champions Stellenbosch FC, earning the last spot in the semi-finals.
KICKOFF TIMES AND VENUES CONFIRMED BY THE PSL
On Saturday, 9 November 2024, the semi-finals will start at the King Zwelithini Stadium in KwaZulu-Natal, with Richards Bay FC taking on Magesi FC. The Natal Rich Boyz and Dikwena tsa Meetse match will start at 15:00.
Meanwhile, Sundowns will face Gallants at Dr Molemela Stadium on Sunday, 10 November 2024. The game will also start at 15:00.
Meanwhile, the winners from the Carling Knockout semis will face each other in the tournament’s finals. This will be on Saturday, 23 November 2024.
The PSL also announced that this year’s Carling Knockout finals will be held at the Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein, Free State.
Tickets for all semi-final games are sold at TicketPro outlets nationwide, priced at R50 each.
