Prince William recently warmed hearts as he served lunch to the homeless at The Passage, a well-known London charity.
PRINCE WILLIAM’S FESTIVE SPIRIT
The visit, which took place on 5 December 2024, saw the Prince of Wales don an apron and immerse himself in the festive spirit, according to People.
This marked his second consecutive year lending a hand at the charity during the Christmas season.
The Passage holds special significance for William, as his late mother, Princess Diana, introduced him to the charity as a child.

The Prince recalled his experience in his documentary Prince William: We Can End Homelessness.
He shared, “I must have been about 11, I think probably at the time.
Maybe 10… I remember at the time kind of thinking, ‘Well, if everyone’s not got a home, they’re all going to be really sad.’
But it was incredible how happy an environment it was.”

During his latest visit, William chatted with volunteers and shared a light moment with The Passage’s head chef, Claudette Hawkins. They celebrated her birthday, according to Sky News.
“I won’t ask you what birthday it is,” he joked, bringing smiles to the room.
On social media, the Prince and Princess of Wales’ official Instagram account praised the charity’s efforts.
“Acts of kindness, like serving Christmas lunches, bring hope and foster a sense of community for those who need it most.”
TACKLING HOMELESSNESS
William’s commitment to tackling homelessness has been clear throughout the year.
His Homewards campaign, which launched in June 2023, aims to make homelessness “brief, rare and unrepeated.”
The initiative operates in six pilot areas across the UK, each trialling unique, community-specific solutions to the issue.

The Prince has been vocal about how his mother’s compassion shaped his passion for the cause.
