Oscar Mbo announces building a new house
DJ and music producer Oscar Mbo is stepping into a fresh, joy-filled season of his life, both in music and fatherhood.
The award-winning Vuka hitmaker recently revealed a deeply personal update: he’s building a new home for his expanding family.
In a touching Instagram story, Oscar shared a video capturing the early stages of construction.
The foundation of what appears to be a spacious family house is already taking shape.
Alongside the clip, he wrote a heartfelt caption that melted hearts: “Asked her what she wants for Christmas in ‘24, she said a bigger home since we’re expanding our family. I spoke to God and He said; no stress.”
This big move comes shortly after Oscar and his partner, Lerato Phasha, quietly welcomed their first child together.
In May, the couple broke their silence with an emotional post celebrating the baby’s arrival.
“A faithful God. Glory!” Oscar wrote.
The pair followed the announcement with an intimate maternity photo shoot.
Dressed in matching white tees and denim, Lerato glowed with pride as she showed off her baby bump, while Oscar’s joy was captured in a sweet hospital moment where he held their newborn and danced with excitement.
In a tender online exchange, Lerato wrote, “I love you so much babe,” to which Oscar replied, “I love you long time, sunshine.”
