This Orlando Pirates trio have left Mayfair and they are set to represent the Bucs’ PSL rivals.

Orlando Pirates did not make any signing during the January transfer window but they have let some players leave the club.

Albeit, some on loan (not on a permanent basis). So, Let’s take a look at the second player to leave the Bucs following the departure of Delvi Miguel Vieira.

PIRATES SEND OUT OTLADISA OUT

Katlego Otladisa was the next Pirates player out the door following the departure of Gilberto.

Gilberto has been loaned Gilberto back to his former club Petro de Luanda.

“Orlando Pirates has reached an agreement for the loan transfer of Angolan international Gilberto to Petro de Luanda for the remainder of the season,” Pirates confirmed in a statement.

Thereafter, midfielder Otladisa was spotted in training with PSL rivals, Sekhukhune United. Now, he is training for and playing for Sekhukhune. Thus, making him the second Bucs exit. This one flew under the radar with Pirates having a quiet January transfer window.

BUCS MAKE NO SIGNINGS

Surprisingly, Pirates did not sign any new players in the recent transfer window.

So, while this is not the most exciting news it does speak to the confident of Jose Riveiro in his current squad. Meaning, Riveiro and Bucs management believe in the current crop of players.

This speaks volumes. Pirates are set to compete in the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League. Furthermore, the Soweto giants are currently giving defending PSL champions, Mamelodi Sundowns a solid run for the BetWay Premiership title.

Pirates sit six points behind Sundowns but the Bucs have a game in hand. The Brazilians have 36 points from 13 matches. Meanwhile, Pirates have 30 points from 12.

SHOULD PIRATES LET OTLADISA RETURN OR SHOULD THEY SELL HIM PERMANENTLY?
