Controversial music executive Nota Baloyi recently opened up about his legal woes.

It is undoubtedly been a bad year for Baloyi, who has been dragged to the courts several times and even served a sentence.

A few days after being released on parole, Nota Baloyi appeared at the Randburg Magistrate’s Court for another court case.

He appeared before the family court in relation to a protection order that was served in September. Earlier this year, Itumeleng Bokaba accused the music executive of rape.

The music executive has it that he ordered his attorney to examine one of her videos since he believes he violated the order.

The protection order prohibits the singer from discussing him on social media and other platforms.

However, Nota Baloyi’s case was postponed until December 13, when replying affidavits must be submitted.

After his Friday court appearance, Baloyi said the matter was postponed. It was postponed for replying affidavits to be submitted on December 13, 2024.

However, the indexing and pagination is to be concluded by January 21 2025.

The controversial music executive revealed that his legal woes have been costly and hopes they will all be over soon.

“With regards to the rape case, we are waiting for the prosecution to decide whether they will still proceed with it after they have concluded investigations.

So, hopefully by the time the protection order matter sits, the rape matter would have been concluded. Because it starts in January next year,” said Nota Baloyi.

Last week, Nhlamulo ‘Nota’ Baloyi was released from prison after two weeks of his 60-day sentence. He was released from Johannesburg Prison, also known as Sun City, on 25 November.

However, against the news of his release, the media has disclosed that Nota Baloyi is in house detention with high-risk supervision until January 2025.

Nota Baloyi was nabbed at the Randburg Magistrate’s Court during a court sitting of his alleged rape case.

Surprisingly, he was nabbed for a different court case. He was found guilty of contempt of court and imprisoned for a different case involving K.O.

Nota Baloyi alleged that K.O. colluded with assailants who shot and killed AKA outside the Wish Restaurant in 2023.

Against the damning claims, K.O. asked the muso to hold off on disclosing information that would link him to the murder of AKA.

Nota Baloyi seemingly disregarded the court order obtained by K.O., leading to his arrest.
