NONHLE THEMA: INSTAGRAM
TV personality and model Nonhle Thema’s view on children choosing their parents received mixed reactions from online users, with many feeling that she was trying too hard to channel an era she could not.
Nonhle, formerly known for hosting shows O-Boma and O-Access, on Channel O in the late 2000s, has made it back into the entertainment scene after she went viral for going on the Podcast and Chill with MacG and co-hosts Sol Phenduka and Ghost Lady.
During the interview with the controversial podcaster, she spoke about her journey into the industry and how she made millions at such a young age. During her peak in the 200s, Nonhle was the brand ambassador for the popular haircare brand, Dark and Lovely a deal she lost after going on a Twitter rant about how much money she makes.
Whilst chatting to MacG and Sol Phenduka, Nonhle spoke on her spiritual journey where she stated that in the spiritual realm, children chose their parents, but when asked about the children who are abandoned she could not answer that question leaving people to think that she was being unnecessary with her statement.
Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter) online publication MDN News posted the video where she made her statement.

She was onto something. That’s the only answer I can think of. Something way stronger than Chillers Punch. pic.twitter.com/1PbPXJYN2p
