There’s a teenage sensation making waves at Kaizer Chiefs.
Versatile 16-year-old Royce Malatji is turning heads at the Kaizer Chiefsvillage with SoccerLaduma’s Siya crew saying, “He is just 16-years-old but he is very good. He can play at right back, central defense, right wing or even as a central midfielder. It doesn’t matter where he plays – he is just good!,
“That’s why both technical teams have agreed that he joins the senior team. He has a great future ahead of him and they want to nurture him in the right environment.”
Nabi want’s more players
Following seven signings in the winter, coach Nasreddine Nabi wants more.
“Our squad has a lot of quality players. But I don’t think this is going to be the final squad. We are working on getting new players,” he told FARPost.
“A big club like Kaizer Chiefs needs a high level of quality in all lines: in defence, middle and attack. You know it’s easier to look for a defender than a striker.
“If you need top players, you need to take your time. We continue with my staff and the committee to look for players,” the AmaKhosi manager added.
“So, you would need time to work hard to profile players. We work together to profile players in defence as I don’t have this opportunity for attack.
“We will continue with my staff committee to look. I need the strikers, and maybe if we have the wingers.”
