Netball South Africa has a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) following the recent departure of Blanche de la Guerre at the organisation.

In a press conference held on Tuesday, Netball SA president Cecilia Molokwane unveiled Modiegi Komane as the CEO.
Netball SA had advertised the position of CEO in 2022 but asked De la Guerre to stay on until after the Netball World Cup.
South Africa were the host nation, and the tournament took place in Cape Town between 28 July and 6 August.

NETBALL SOUTH AFRICA HAS A NEW CEO
Now, according to Netball SA president Molokwane, the incoming CEO, Komane, has signed a one-year performance contract with an option to renew.

Komane comes in at a time when Netball South Africa faces a transition of rebuilding a squad that will compete in the 2027 Netball World Cup.
A number of players from the recently ended Netball World Cup would have long retired from the game in 2027.
