Q&A WITH NDAVI NOKERI

What did you find most exciting about Tropika Island of Treasure?

What I find the exciting about Tropika Island of Treasure is how it brings together different people from different backgrounds together aiming for one goal and forming great relationships not the way! And of course the many opportunities to win!

What was it like being in Zanzibar? Did you do any tourist activities while you were there?

I had the best experience in Zanzibar. I loved the people, they were so friendly, the views were incredible and I enjoyed the local food. We did many tourist activities and created memories that I will always cherish, like swimming with the turtles and many more.

Do you think any skills you learnt as Miss SA helped you on Tropika Island of Treasure?

Yes, the journey to Miss SA is very long and in the process you have days where you question yourself and if you are capable of taking on the role, and you need to constantly pick yourself up and remind yourself of your strengths. I experienced the same at Tropika, having self doubt, so because of that experience, I could quickly pivot to that positive self-talk and pick myself up for the next challenge.

What was it like working with the other contestants?

Working with the other contestants was super fun, challenging and eye-opening. Watching how everyone navigated the challenges in their own unique way was quite interesting.

This comes after some Springboks and their families spent some down time in Mauritius.
