Maskandi giant Mthandeni shocked South Africa when he collaborated with amapiano princess Mawhoo on their smash hit ‘Gucci’. The highly anticipated music video is finally here and it is the talk of the town.
The year, 2024 saw the maskandi genre grow exponentially as it went from catering to one niche population to adopting a more diverse and commercialised sound for all the various tribes and cultures in South Africa to indulge in.
