MRS SOUTH AFRICA 2025 ENTRIES OPEN

The Mrs South African Organisation has announced that entries for 2025 have opened. The organisation is seeking the next cohort of ambitious women ready to transform both their lives and communities.

Registration for the new year closes promptly on Monday 27 January at 17:00. The live open National Public Casting event will follow soon after on Friday 31 January in Gauteng. The exact time and place of the live casting will be communicated in due course.

MRS SOUTH AFRICA 2025 REQUIREMENTS

  • Applicants must be between the ages of 25 and 55 in 2025
  • Legally married and able to present a valid marriage certificate
  • No limitations on height, weight, ethnicity, body modifications such as tattoos and piercings, educational background, or prior modelling or pageantry experience.
  • Entry forms are available online here.

A select group of semi-finalists will be chosen to advance, judged on their confidence, ambition, and overall potential.

“I approached the competition expecting a pageant. I walked out with an MBA in life,” saidErin-Jane Miller, the reigning Mrs South Africa.

Like many before her, Miller discovered that behind the glamour of the crown lies an intensive leadership and women’s empowerment programme that has helped launch successful entrepreneurs, community leaders, and global changemakers.

CEO Joani Jacobs is optimistic for the coming year, revealing that applications for the previous season shattered all former records.

“The 2024 season showcased the talent of our local women on a scale rarely seen in South Africa, and given its success, we feel confident that the coming year will be our most exciting and popular yet, raising the competition’s standard even higher,” said Jacobs.

MORE ABOUT MRS SOUTH AFRICA

Jacobs went on to say that the 2024 ladies had raised over R400 000 for charity.

“But what matters most is the impact the programme has on our participants, and what they’re able to achieve after taking part. The Class of 2024 experienced some phenomenal accomplishments, including collectively raising over R400 000 for charity – in addition to a number of other personal success stories,” she said.

The Mrs South Africa programme aims to prepare contestants for a life of purpose-driven success and self-empowerment, equipping participants with valuable life skills such as leadership development, financial management, effective communication, and personal branding.

“The bond between these women, with support from their mentors, coaches, and many topic experts, creates a unique, encouraging environment where women inspire, support, and uplift each other,” says Jacobs.

As with all Mrs South Africa events, judging will be overseen by an independent auditing firm, PKF Octagon, to ensure transparency and fairness in the selection process.
