Mosimane poised to join Amakhosi!

The hits just keep on coming. From Percy Tau to Bongani Zungu and now Mosimane, Chiefs have plenty to get excited about!

Pitso Mosimane recently took to social media to showcase his appreciation for his son, Reatlegile who currently played for Kaizer Chiefs U13 side.

Moreover, he was the top goal scorer on route to Amakhosi claiming the GDL trophy. Now, the door is wide open to Mosimane joining Chiefs in the future.

MOSIMANE POISED TO JOIN CHIEFS IN THE FUTURE

Mosimane (Reatlegile), was one of the stand-out performers for Amakhosi’s U13 side.

His father, Pitso was even impressed by his performances and we know that Mosimane certainly has an eye for talent. Moreover, it is clear that football runs in the blood of the Mosimane family.

Pitso, is an iconic coach, a legend in South African football – in coaching terms. Whilst, his wife, Moira, is a football agent and a business partner of Pitso. Now, their son, Rea, is one of the rising stars who has the potential to play for Amakhosi’s senior side in the future.

He is one of the top players in the U13 system. So, if he continues on the same career trajectory he will likely play for Amakhosi’s DDC side in a few years. Thereafter, the balls in his court – and at his feet. As his form and performances will determine if he plays for the senior side in the future.

AMAKHOSI’S GRASS ROOTS FEEDING THE SENIOR SIDE

Currently, Mduduzi Shabalala and Mfundo Vilakazi are two of the most promising and exciting talents in the PSL. Furthermore, both stars were recently promoted from Amakhosi’s DDC side.

Additionally, the likes of Wandile Duba and Samkelo Zwane have also recently earned promotion. Also, Aden McCarthy and Bontle Molefe have been training with the senior side for over a year now. However, neither man has had his chance to start for the first team in the PSL yet.

Finally, household Amakhosi names such as Nkonsingiphile Ngcobo, Happy Mashiane and Sabelo Radebe all came out of Chiefs’ academy system.
