Rumours around the league
- Kaizer Chiefs are monitoring Bafana’s Swedish-based midfielder, Luke Le Roux. The 24-year-old left the PSL in 2019.
- According to reports, Orlando Pirates are eager to lure Chippa United playmaker Sinoxolo Kwayiba.
- The future surrounding Oswin Appollis remains unclear as Polokwane City continue their attempt to build a league-winning team. Club chairman Johnny Mogaladi is not open to selling the Bafana winger.
- Monnapule Saleng’s Orlando Pirates offseason exit appears imminent as the two parties continue to dispute the contract.
Rhodes to Pirates?
Former PSL Young Player of the Year Jaedin Rhodes is another attacker on Orlando Pirates’ radar:
“There is an offer for the coach to continue for another three years, but he has asked to wait until the end of the season. His main wish is to win the league, and if that happens, he may leave because he misses home,” a source explained.
“The league title may decide the coach’s future. That’s what’s believed as things stand,
“Nothing has been agreed upon because the coach hasn’t made up his mind. He has made it clear that he misses home and family. And will only consider his future at the end of the season. However, the club has already opened talks with his representatives, hoping for the best outcome.”
