SAFTA award-winning presenter Nonkanyiso ‘LaConco’ Conco has shared details about her fallout with Ayanda Ncwane.

LACONCO ON BUMPING INTO AYANDA RECENTLY

On Thursday, LaConco took to Instagram to set the record straight about the status of their friendship.

The reality TV star hosted a Q&A session on her Instagram stories, where a follower asked why she did not mention Ayanda Ncwane in her list of housewive friendships, questioning whether they are still besties.

LaConco shared that she recently bumped into Ayanda and greeted her. She said that after Ayanda greeted her back, she walked away and did not engage with her.

“I bumped into her about a week ago. I greeted her, and she greeted me back. I stopped, but she walked away. Manje ke ngimbale kanjani (so why should mention her?). It’s been years since I’ve seen or spoken to her in any way. Whatever reason she has, it’s okay. Yini leyenza niphoqe into engekho? (What makes you force something that doesn’t exist?). I explained on RHOD that the relationship was never equal,” she explained.

INSIDE LACONCO AND AYANDA’S FRIENDSHIP

LaConco and Ayanda were once inseparable friends, captivating many with their bond while also sparking envy among others. They even appeared together on the first season of Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) and they had a fun ride.

However, recently, there have been questions about the status of their friendship, as they are no longer seen together.

LACONCO SAYS NO ONE WILL EVER LIKE HER LIKE ZUMA

The reality TV star further opened up about her failed relationship with former president Jacob Zuma. She said that no one would ever love her like Zuma did. According to LaConco, she has been open to other men pursuing her, but their lack of self-esteem is always an issue.

“I’ve given chances to ‘anyone,’ as you say, but i self-esteem iyabavithizi (knock them down). It’s a common thing with guys abangishelayo amagwala (who are pursuing me are cowards), so maybe I should seriously consider dating someone of a higher standard.

“My past has nothing to do with my DNA; I’ve never seen ‘baba’ the way the world sees him, as a ‘status.’ He knows this, which is why he respects me, and that’s why I respect him back. I can’t be sis dolly to a weak man who doesn’t accept I will love him for who he is. Nobody will ever love me like he did and same to me .” she said.
