Popular producer and DJ Kelvin Momo, born Thato Ledwaba has been one of the artists who have been the hot topic as he continued to feed his fans with new projects. Mere hours after dropping his ‘Ntsako’ album, the amapiano maestro has earned himself yet another stamp of approval from listeners.
Kelvin Momo’s name has quickly become a well-liked and highly respected one in the amapiano and music industry in general as he as Kelvin has proven himself as a heavyweight as far as producing musical masterpieces. One could argue that the ‘Fool Me’ hitmaker has become the face of the niche amapiano sub-genre that has been dubbed as ‘private school piano’.
Taking to his Instagram, Kelvin revealed to his followers that he would be dropping an album titled ‘Ntsako’ at midnight, taking them by surprise as they were not expecting the project from the DJ.
“Ntsako out at midnight! This journey wouldn’t be possible without all of you, thank you to everyone who contributed and made this possible,” Kelvin captioned.
The offering becomes Kelvin’s sixth studio album and includes an extensive catalogue of 24 songs in total, with diverse sounds for all to enjoy. Following suit with his previous projects, ‘Ntsako’ has debuted at number one on South Africa’s Apple Music charts, and is expected to climb international charts as Kelvin has penetrated some international audiences

The ‘Sewe’ producer’s impact on Mzansi’s music scene has been immense and is evident in listeners staying up until the early hours of the morning to listen to their favourite artist’s latest project as it drops. These die-hard supporters have already expressed the plans they have for this album, which includes long road trips that will have ‘Ntsako’ playing on full blast. Others have commended Kelvin for his consistency in releasing top-quality projects and never dropping the ball, including his latest offering which appears to be on the same level.
