Kaizer Chiefs fans are confident that their team will beat Orlando Pirates in the final of the Nedbank Cup.

This is after the Glamour Boys edged out Masandawana 2-1 in the semi-final at the Loftus Versfeld. Wandile Duba and Ashley Du Preez scored second-half goals to see Amakhosi reach their first domestic final in six years. Teboho Mokoena opened the scoring just before the half-time whistle.

Kaizer Chiefs v Orlando Pirates to play in final

“It’s been a while since Orlando Pirates last played against Kaizer Chiefs in a final! Thanks, Kaizer Chiefs, for making it happen! SA football fans are happy! A final derby is always exciting!” tweeted @Ndobe_Bibow.
“Next is Orlando Pirates, then whoever wins the Champions League and then the Club World Cup. We want all the smoke,” tweeted @ManelisiKetse.

The Nedbank Cup final between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will be played at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on 10 May. The Buccaneers and Amakhosi last played each other in the final back in 2014 with Chiefs winning 1-0.
