KAIZER CHIEFS LEGEND ITUMELENG KHUNE GIVES IT TO AMAKHOSI
“I hope they can win it for the old man, he deserves something,” Khune said at the press conference.
“He put so much into the club. 9.5 years [without a trophy] is not nice and he has invested so much in the players.
“I think Dr. Motaung deserves to be given the trophy. He has invested so much into the team and I think the players that are there now they must think of writing their names in the history books,” Khune concluded as quoted by iDiskiTimes.
KAIZER CHIEFS STAR INACIO MIGUEL RETURNS TO FULL FITNESS
The 29-year-old Inacio Miguel has missed the past four matches due to injury. Speaking to the media this weekend, Miguel revealed that he is ready to return to action this weekend.
“I have been working hard after the injury,” the Kaizer Chiefs central defender told Kick Off before the clash with Orlando Pirates.
“My mission was not only the Soweto Derby last week but also the final. My focus was always to recover as fast as possible. I’m doing my best to get in shape. I’m getting fit.
“I hope I can help the team on Saturday. But it’s up to the coach as well,” the Kaizer Chiefs skipper concluded.
Meanwhile, Rushwin Dortely and Given Msimango are all ruled out due to injuries.
