After being left out of Mamelodi Sundowns’ Fifa Club World Cup squad, Kaizer Chiefs believe now is the time to push to sign Terrence Mashego!
The Glamour Boys have been long-time admirers of the former Cape Town City star.
Now, following his Club World Cup snub, Chiefs are keen on snapping the talented left-back up.
“Chiefs were reportedly interested in securing his services in the previous transfer window, but Sundowns also opted to retain the Mamelodi-born defender,” a Citizen report read.
“With Kaizer Chiefs now prioritising reinforcements on the left side of their defence, sources close to the club also suggest Mashego is high on their shortlist.”
Mashego has one-year left on his contract at Mamelodi Sundowns meaning Chiefs will have to reach an agreement with them to sign him.
