Kaizer Chiefs are rumoured to be plotting a sensational swoop for a player who left the club under a cloud exactly a year ago.

Chiefs regret selling Dithejane?

According to SoccerLaduma, Amakhosi are closely following Puso Dithejane’s performance with TS Galaxy. The former academy product from Naturena has thrived in the number 10 role for Sead Ramovic’s side.

Acrimonious exit from Kaizer Chiefs

Amakhosi released Dithejane along with Unathi Mdaka owing to misconduct over ball-boy duties in October. It’s a bit silly that DDC players had to perform that role if you ask us. Chiefs insisted they would only release Dithejane if a suitor paid a R1.5 million fee for his services. TS Galaxy swooped in and got their man. Could a sensational return to Chiefs be on the cards?

Magesi are punching above their weight, so far

Kaizer Chiefs recorded a come-from-behind 2-2 draw with newcomers Magesi last time out. Mduduzi Shabalala was the Chiefs saviour with a quick-fire brace in the 76th and 78th minutes.

“Kaizer Chiefs are gearing up to return to the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane for the third consecutive time, where they will face newcomers to the Betway Premiership, Magesi FC,” the club confirmed.

“This highly anticipated clash marked the first-ever meeting between the two teams.

“Magesi, under the experienced guidance of coach Clinton Larsen, are riding high after a stunning victory against Orlando Pirates at the Orlando Stadium in the Carling Knockout competition just over a week ago. Following that triumph, they secured a valuable point in a scoreless draw against Cape Town City on Sunday, showcasing their resilience and potential as they navigate their debut season in the top flight.”

A Rolls Royce arrives at the Naturena parking lot

Amakhosi’s technical team have uncovered another gem. 16-year-old teenage prodigy Royce Malatji has had a taste of first-team training at Naturena and he seems to be a player capable of playing several positions. The most talented youngsters often can. With a name like Royce, perhaps he’s destined for the top.

“He is just 16 years old but he is very good. He can play at right back, central defence, right-wing or even as a central midfielder. It doesn’t matter where he plays – he is just good!,” the Siya crew stated on SoccerLaduma.

“That’s why both technical teams have agreed that he joins the senior team. He has a great future ahead of him and they want to nurture him in the right environment,” they added.

Will Amakhosi fans welcome Dithejane back to the club if they make a move for the 20-year-old?
