Transfer values are estimates at best but players seem to see their stock falling at the mighty Kaizer Chiefs.
Mdantsane leaves Kaizer Chiefs on loan
30-year-old playmaker Mduduzi Mdantsane is leaving Kaizer Chiefs on loan for the remainder of the campaign. The former Cape Town City star only managed 16 appearances, two assists and zero goals for the Glamour Boyus since joining in July 2023. Official communication from the club’s website:
“Kaizer Chiefs have agreed to a loan deal that sees midfielder Mduduzi Mdantsane join KwaZulu-Natal side, Richards Bay, for the remainder of the 2024/25 season,”
Injuries didn’t help Mdantsane whose value has plummeted
At his peak value, transfermarkt estimates that Mduduzi Mdantsane was at his most desirable in the market in February 2023 when they gauged him to be worth 1.2m (R22.8 million). Now, exactly two years later, they figure he’s worth half that (R11.4 million). Injuries have ravaged his time at Naturena, including a terribly unfortunate one sustained in a car accident, but when fit his form hasn’t been to the standard expected by Chiefs.
