Kaizer Chiefs are monitoring Young African’s striker Prince Dube.

The Young African’s forward has been at the forefront of their dominant season, clearing second-placed Simba by fourt points with eight games to go.

The Tanzanian giants have scored a league-best fifty-eight goals – of which Dube has been one of the main instigators – and conceded a head scratching nine.

According to reports, Dube has took priority over targets Fiston Mayele and Michael Olunga.

“The club is evaluating the realistic chances of signing a striker, and as things stand, Prince (Dube) looks the most promising option,” a source revealed.

“The other strikers they have been eyeing, such as Michael Olunga and Fiston Mayele, appear difficult to secure, which is why attention has shifted to Dube. He’s also performing well for Yanga at the moment,

“There are other positions the club wants to reinforce. But the striker and left-back positions are at the top of the agenda. The striker they are currently focusing on is Prince Dube from Yanga in Tanzania.”

Happy news

Following a shaky start to the season, defender Happy Mashiane is proving his worth at Kaizer Chiefs; so much so that the club are retracting from releasing or loaning the 27-year-old in the offseason.

“Things are apparently look good for Happy [Mashiane],” SoccerLadumaconfirmed.

“Not just for this season but even further as the coach is now believed to be putting trust in him in that left-hand position. Coach Nabi is happy to have him for a longer time,

“That has also brought confidence to him as a player. Yes, his contract is running until June 2026, that means this gives him hope that may not be loaned out or released soon. The coach is happy with him and that is very important for the player.”
