Action superstar Jean-Claude Van Damme is facing allegations of sexual misconduct following a criminal complaint filed against him in Romania a few weeks ago.
Reports indicate that the Romanian Directorate for Investigating Organised Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) received a complaint against the “Bloodsport” actor.
Van Damme, 64, is accused of knowingly engaging in sexual relations with women who were trafficked by a criminal group led by Morel Bolea, Romanian news outlet Antena 3 reported.

The incidents allegedly occurred during an event organised by Van Damme in Cannes, France, where he is accused of accepting five Romanian women as a “gift,” despite being aware that they were sourced from traffickers.
In response to the allegations, the actor’s agent stated that they are false.
“We have become aware of articles alleging an affair in Cannes involving Mr Jean-Claude Van Damme. The reported facts are both grotesque and non-existent.
“Mr Van Damme does not wish to comment or fuel this rumour, which is as absurd as it is unfounded,” the statement read as per People.
Jean-Claude Van Damme was born in Belgium and gained fame in the United States after the release of “No Retreat, No Surrender” in 1985. He achieved his breakthrough three years later when he starred in “Bloodsport.”
