The controversial celebrity blogger is trending after he made a string of X posts amid his court woes and being behind bars.
MUSA KHAWULA ‘RETURNS’ ON X DESPITE BEING BEHIND BARS
Is Musa Khawula tweeting from the cells? Musa Khawula made his first X post weeks after his recent court appearance at the Randburg Magistrate’s Court.
The controversial gossip blogger is facing a string of charges, from defamation to attempted murder charges.
His last post dates back to 8 January before his arrest in Dundee. Surprisingly, his X account continues to share a string of defamatory posts, leaving many people worried.
Did he gain access to his account, or is one of his close friends running the show in his absence?
Inno Morolong was once accused of posting from Musa Khawula’s account, but she has downplayed the reports.
However, the correctional services and Khawula’s legal team have since responded to the allegations.
The Correctional Services have it that they are investigating if he is posting while behind bars.
“I have asked around. We will have to check where the person is detained and whether he has access to a cellphone or not,” said Correctional Services Spokesman Singabakho Nxumalo.
However, his legal team distanced himself from the matter.
“He is behind bars. I don’t know anything about that. The last time I saw him was when he appeared in court,” Musa Khawula’s legal representative.
A STRING OF CHARGES
Musa Khawula is facing a string of charges, including crimen injuria, contempt of court, and contravening the Cybercrimes Act.
He pulled a shocker in January when he abandoned his bail bid in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court.
His arrest came after he failed to appear in court and remove defamatory X posts about former Miss South Africa Tamaryn Green and her businessman husband, Ze Nxumalo.
Last year, Musa Khawula pulled a shocker when he alleged that Ze had been cheating on his pregnant wife.
However, Musa Khawula is also facing a separate charge of attempted murder relating to a 2021 incident when he was accused of knocking over a man and driving off.
