We are aware that mornings often determine the tone for the day, but if we are being honest with ourselves, right now, how many of us wake up feeling completely rested and prepared to face the world?

I can take a quick guess, if I choose to not be dramatic, I would say around 50-60% and I am part of this percentage. I have not been getting it right, so as much as I would like to give you some insight on why you should prioritise your sleep more so that your mornings look a little better, I’ll be doing myself a favour too.

For some people, mornings are more chaotic than peaceful. When the alarm goes off, they start rushing out of bed, do what needs to be done and off to work or school they go. There isn’t any time to relax before tackling the day’s responsibilities(Reading this out loud makes me really want to revise my morning routine)

So, imagine if your mornings could feel and look different, waking up feeling rejuvenated, grounded, and having enough time to take care of yourself before the daily grind starts. Literally cruising through your morning routine and ideally beginning your day with a sense of purpose and peace, and prepared to face any obstacles head-on with optimism. You would also feel in control and ready for what lies ahead rather than in a frantic rush.

The difference between how mornings usually go and how they should ideally go highlights just how much minor adjustments to your routine can result in a more peaceful and effective start to the day, and again, if we are being honest with ourselves, we definitely want nothing but peace!
