Johannesburg Emergency Services (EMS) spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi said residents should be aware of the adverse effects that may result from extended exposure to extreme heat conditions.

“Extremely hot temperatures expected in most parts of the City of Johannesburg over this weekend,” he said as per The Citizen.

“Residents are urged to stay hydrated, drink lots of water and stay away from direct sunlight between 11:00 and 15:00.”
