Former Proteas player Herschelle Gibbs has fuelled rumours that he has married again. The retired cricketer proposed to his partner, Hungarian model Dana Németh, two years ago.
The 51-year-old has been married once before and has two children from separate women. He also had two other high-profile breakups with two different women.
IS HERSCHELLE GIBBS A MARRIED MAN?
On his Instagram account, Herschelle Gibbs posted a picturealongside his fiancée, Dana Németh. The couple posed alongside their golden retriever, Scooter, who has his own Instagram account.
Herschelle captioned the post: “Enjoy the long weekend, from the Gibbs’s.”
Although the couple announced their engagement in a romantic proposal in 2023, they have made no mention of their wedding date.
LOVE AT LAST?
Herschelle Gibbs’ romance with his brunette bombshell is one of many high-profile romances he has been in.
In 1996, Hershelle fathered a son – Rashard – with ex Liesl Fuller.
The woman told various tabloids that they split on bitter terms and that the cricketer was an “absent father”.
She said: “He convinced himself I’d tried to entrap him when I fell pregnant. That wasn’t the case. I was young and naïve. I was just a child”.
Herschelle and his son have since developed a close bond.
In 2007, Herschelle Gibbs married Tenielle Povey, but their union lasted just one year. According to the retired star, the relationship was physically abusive on his end.
The famous cricketer would go on to date blonde women, Sherrin Davie and Gill Phillips Clemen, in 2014 and 2019, respectively.
Also in 2019, Herschelle was ordered to pay thousands in child support to another baby mama, Anna.
